April is Occupational Therapy Month!
Occupational therapy differs from physical therapy primarily because it is focused on providing training and a long-term plan of care to enable patients (often with disability or life-long conditions) to live independently and complete daily activities as seamlessly as possible.
Occupational therapists are committed to helping their patients by providing them with therapeutic adaptations for their own routines and environments.
For years, Perfect Balance has proudly provided occupational therapy for the WNC community.
“The special therapy I have received from Steve (OTR) for my neck and balance problems has helped me to live independently in my own home and to lead a good and active life. His ability, expertise, and kindness all contribute to make him a fine and effective therapist. I feel fortunate to have been referred to him.”
